Opening Angela Dini’s HEROCOLLECTION
On Thursday July 21, at 20: 00h at La Casa Amarilla inaugurating the exhibition of our colleague Angela Dini. We leave you some words about the artist and her work:
Design isn’t a discipline you choose, it’s something you are. You have to learn to live with the constant shaping of a thousand projects in your mind even when you walk down the street. Expressing yourself with shapes and colours, creating any universe imaginable, that is design. It’s simplicity made expression.
During the 10 years and some she has spent in design, Ángela Dini has always found time to devote to personal endeavors that have let her explore different areas inside design and diverse artistic and artisanal disciplines.
She finds herself in a constant search for knowledge of other cultures and disciplines, getting to know the works of many artists that help her express everything that cannot be conveyed by words, all that stays in a knot in the throat while talking and that cannot get out.
Hero Collection was born from one of those days in which one tries to create a new world from one that is already perfect, from the search for the smallest expression of a universe where superheroes read comic books. A world where with just a few shapes and colors we are able to extract out of our mind those significant characters of the comic book world from different ages and universes.
Why do superheroes read comic books?
Superheroes look for themselves in comic book panels when nobody is watching to check if they have been drawn handsomely.

Angela Dini Presents 22 works where superheroes come out of the panels and are portrayed reading comic books. The imagination of each viewer will fill in the details of why each of them browses the pages of those paper universes where everything is permitted.
