Alva Moca was awarded a degree in advertising from the University of Segovia. It was here that my interest in visual art blossomed, prompting me to study illustration. I then moved to Madrid and studied design, animation, and film post-production.
Since 2004, I have worked as a freelance graphic artist, art director, graphic designer, illustrator, and animator for a variety of agencies and art and television producers. I worked as an art designer for Pedro Almodovar’s last film.
Scholarship Art awarded the Ramon Acín 2015.
My artwork is a mix of collage, illustration, graffiti, painting, and the use of recycled materials. All of these mediums have been influenced greatly by graphic design. A highlight of my artistic career has been collaborating with my brother Fratelli Moca.
