Sara Sarabia

Sara Sarabia (1983) is a graduate and doctoral student in Fine Arts and student of Architecture. Se develops her work based on process, dialogue between concept and experimentation with technique (drawings, paintings, video, installations… video-installations). She is in search of the relevance of message and image. This facet of her profession she combines with a frenetic activity in organization and management of cultural projects.

After working as a waitress, saleswoman and manager in various establishments she starts to channel her professional career as an illustration professor and later as a manager and project adviser in an architecture studio. Finally, and with the acquired experience, she decides to start her own business to unleash her primary passion: Art.

She has curated many expositions in her own Café/ Gallery Escópica and many more at La Casa Amarilla since she joined the project in 2014.

Sara embraces the search of cultural interchange as a premise, determination as an attitude and seriousness by prescription
